Ripe mangoes are a rich source of sugar, so they often tend to increase the blood sugar level. So, individuals suffering from diabetes are advised not to eat ripe mangoes as the fruit often becomes dangerous for them.
A medium sized mango has 3g of fiber. So, just imagine the intake of fiber through mangoes, if you are not able to get hold of your temptation of over eating the fruit. Excessive eating of fibrous fruit results into diarrhea, which is one of the common side effects of mango. Thus, overeating of mangoes should be completely restrained.
